Each week men of Safe Harbor Christian Church go to the Clark County Jail in Jeffersonville, Indiana to talk with those men in the general population that are reaching out to us.
We are there to give them hope, to let them know that no matter what has happened there is still hope. That they can seek forgiveness for what they done, but they first need to forgive themsleves.
Over the past year some of the residents of the jail have been released back into our communities and have written the church expressing gratitude to the men that take the time from their busy life to reach out to the residents of the Clark County jail. They have expressed how much that time they spent with the men of Safe Harbor has changed their life and how they look at their future opportunities.
It is a rewarding experience that can actually change someone's life and turn someone that thought they had no hope into someone that is looking forward to tomorrow.
